Snyder also recently unveiled the first look at the new Batmobile, which has some fans up in arms as you can see that there are clearly big ass guns on the front of the vehicle, seemingly going against the vigilante’s strict no gun policy. And maybe I’m examining this a little too closely. Maybe he had to talk to Commissioner Gordon about some pressing matters, like Darth Vader showing up in Gotham (that’s a movie we would wait in line to see). It’s also possible that the Batmobile is only there because the Dark Knight is the one who apprehended this guy and then waited around for the police. As we’ve seen countless times in the various Star Wars movies, they’re not the most competent bunch to ever don armor and take up arms. (There was a false rumor going around yesterday that the Batmobile had in fact been stolen from the Detroit-based set.) But you wouldn’t normally expect the Caped Crusader to need help from a couple of beat cops just to take down one measly stormtrooper. From the look of things, it appears that this rogue stromtrooper (is it John Boyega’s character from Episode VII? We’ve heard that he could be an AWOL Imperial soldier) may have taken the Batmobile out for a joyride without permission from its rightful owner, you know, Batman.
